What is an eCommerce Website Plan?

A monthly plan where 1Digital® designs, builds and manages a new storefront for the Shopify or BigCommerce store you already have. The design and build are included in the plan with no setup fee, and after launch our team keeps the storefront fast, updated and set up for Google and AI search, making every change you ask for.

How much does a managed Shopify or BigCommerce storefront cost?

Launch is $499 a month, Growth is $799 a month and Scale is $1,299 a month. eCommerce Enterprise starts at $1,999 a month and is quoted after a call. There is no setup fee: your storefront design and build are included in the plan.

How is this different from paying an agency for a custom store build?

An agency build for a custom storefront costs anywhere from thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars up front and takes months to deliver, and every change after launch is billed again. On an eCommerce Website Plan the design and build are included in one monthly price, your storefront usually goes live in weeks, and changes are made for you for as long as you are on the plan. Weeks is a typical timeline; actual timing depends on your integrations and how quickly feedback and approvals come back.

Is my storefront just a theme with my logo on it?

No, and it is not a theme at all. Your storefront is a website we build and host on WorkspaceCMS and connect to your store. Every plan is a semi-custom design and build by our designers, not a template. Launch includes 2 looks to choose from across 5 page types, Growth designs 10 page types, and Scale designs 15 page types with 3 looks to choose from. eCommerce Enterprise starts with fully custom Figma mockups.

Do you run my store for me?

No. You keep running your business: products, orders, inventory, customers and day-to-day operations stay with you in Shopify or BigCommerce. We design, build and manage the storefront your shoppers see, keep it fast and search-ready, and make your changes for you.

Which eCommerce platforms can sign up online?

Shopify and BigCommerce stores can start a plan online in minutes. Magento (Adobe Commerce), WooCommerce, custom platforms and replatforming projects go through eCommerce Enterprise, from $1,999 a month, scoped with you on a call.

Do I have to move my products, checkout or payments?

No. Your products, collections, search and cart come live from your Shopify or BigCommerce store. Checkout, payments, shipping, taxes, customer accounts, subscriptions and marketplace channels all stay in your store, so nothing in your back office has to be rebuilt.

Is this a headless commerce storefront?

You get the part of headless most store owners are after without having to manage it: we design, build and manage the front end your shoppers see, while Shopify or BigCommerce stays the system of record for products, inventory and checkout. You do not need a development team to keep it running. If you need a fully headless or custom architecture, another platform or a migration, that is scoped under eCommerce Enterprise or by our headless commerce development team.

How much does a Shopify store redesign cost?

On an eCommerce website plan the redesign is included: there is no upfront design fee, and plans start at $499 a month on a 12-month term. That covers a semi-custom design and build of your Shopify storefront, the launch, and the changes you ask for afterwards. Shopify Plus stores sign up the same way.

Will my storefront look dated in a few years?

Not on Launch, Growth or Scale. Every one includes Always Fresh: 2 years after your storefront goes live, we redesign it for free with a new look across your plan's page types, using your current products and content. Just ask about 30 days before the 2-year mark. Redeeming starts a new 12-month term at your current rate. On eCommerce Enterprise, design refreshes are scoped with your project manager instead.

How much does a BigCommerce website redesign cost?

The same as a Shopify redesign: the semi-custom design and build of your BigCommerce storefront are included in the plan, with no upfront design fee. Launch is $499 a month, Growth $799 and Scale $1,299, each on a 12-month term, and ongoing storefront changes are made for you.

Do you work with Shopify Plus stores?

Yes. 1Digital® Agency is a Shopify Plus Partner, and Shopify Plus stores can start a plan online like any Shopify store. Checkout, Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and the Plus features you use stay in your Shopify admin; we design, build and manage the storefront in front of them.

Do you work with BigCommerce Enterprise stores?

Yes. 1Digital® Agency is an Elite BigCommerce Partner, and BigCommerce and BigCommerce Enterprise stores can start a plan online. Your catalog, price lists, checkout and payments stay in BigCommerce; we design, build and manage the storefront your shoppers see.

Shopify or BigCommerce: which is better for my store?

Both work well, and both are supported the same way on every plan. Shopify is known for quick setup and a very large app store. BigCommerce is known for more built-in catalog, B2B and multi-storefront features and charges no transaction fees of its own. If you already sell on one, you usually do not need to switch to get a better storefront. If you are weighing a move, book a call and we will talk it through.

Can you migrate my store from BigCommerce to Shopify, or from Shopify to BigCommerce?

Yes. Replatforming, including moving products, customers, orders and URLs, is scoped under eCommerce Enterprise, from $1,999 a month and quoted after a call. The online plans are for stores that are staying on the platform they already use.

Is my new storefront a Shopify or BigCommerce theme?

No. It is a website our team designs, builds and hosts on WorkspaceCMS, connected live to your Shopify or BigCommerce store. Nothing is uploaded to your store as a theme. Your products, prices, inventory and cart still come from your store, so you keep managing them there, and shoppers check out on Shopify or BigCommerce as they do today.

Will my Shopify or BigCommerce apps still work?

Apps that work in your store's back office, such as inventory, shipping, accounting and email apps, keep working because they connect to your store. Apps that only add a widget to your old theme, such as reviews or upsells, are connected to the new storefront as an integration (Growth and Scale include extra integrations), or we suggest an alternative.

Will a new storefront hurt my Shopify or BigCommerce SEO?

We plan for it before launch: your product, collection and page URLs are mapped, redirects are set for any that change, and titles, descriptions and structured data carry over. That protects the rankings you have as fully as a redesign can. No one can promise rankings, and we do not.

Do I still need a Shopify developer or BigCommerce agency?

Not for the storefront. On the plan, design changes, new pages and storefront fixes are made for you. Custom back-office apps, ERP projects and replatforming are separate work, which our development team can quote.

How long does it take to launch my new storefront?

Most storefronts go live in weeks, usually 3 to 4 and sometimes sooner: a mockup of your homepage and key pages, your design changes, mobile checks, then your WorkspaceCMS site goes live, connected to your store. That is a typical timeline; actual timing depends on your integrations and how quickly feedback and approvals come back.

What AI features are included?

Growth and Scale include every AI agent we make: an AI chat agent for shoppers, Blog Autopilot, Social Automation for Instagram, the AI Visibility Tracker, Lead Follow-up, Newsletters and Sage, our AI assistant. Will my store show up in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other AI answers?

Every storefront launches with product, collection and page SEO, structured data and a sitemap, built so Google and AI assistants can read and cite it. Growth and Scale add the AI Visibility Tracker, which checks how AI tools answer questions about your category and writes articles for the questions you are missing. No one can promise rankings or AI citations, and we do not.

Is SEO included, or do I need an SEO package too?

On-site SEO is built into every storefront at launch and maintained with it. Ongoing SEO, paid search and Google Shopping campaigns are separate eCommerce SEO and PPC packages, which you can add when you want marketing on top. Those marketing campaigns carry no long-term contract.

What happens after my storefront launches?

Our team keeps managing it. Send a change request and we make it: in 2 business days on Launch and 1 business day on Growth, with Scale in the priority queue. We also run weekly speed and health checks, fix anything broken on our side, and send a Monday summary of your leads, posts and site health. You can edit headlines, images and collections yourself at any time too.

Which integrations are included?

Every plan connects GA4 and Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, Klaviyo or Mailchimp sign-up forms, contact and lead forms, and your chat widget or our AI chat, done for you. Growth adds up to 3 more standard integrations and Scale up to 5, such as reviews, loyalty or a help desk. ERP and CRM syncs connect to your store, not the storefront, so they stay with your store. Showing ERP data on your storefront, product configurators and custom APIs are quoted separately.

Which plan should I choose?

Launch suits a store that wants a faster, better-looking storefront that gets found, with the core tools. Growth, our most popular plan, adds more design, unlimited pages and every AI agent working for your store. Scale is for large catalogs and multi-brand stores that want more design, 2,000 AI credits, weekly AI Visibility scans, more integrations and a monthly working session with our team.

Are Shopify or BigCommerce fees included in my plan?

Your Shopify or BigCommerce subscription, apps, transaction and payment-processing fees, and any other third-party costs are billed by those providers and paid by you. Your plan covers the storefront: design and build, integration with your store, your plan's features, and ongoing support and management.

How does billing work, and is there a contract?

eCommerce Website Plans are billed monthly on a 12-month term, with no setup fee. The 12-month term is what lets us include the full design and build in the plan instead of charging for it upfront. The WorkspaceCMS Terms explain how ending a plan early works.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Launch, Growth and Scale come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Your 30 days start the day we deliver your final round of design revisions, and your store launches inside that window. Is eCommerce Enterprise refundable?

What happens to my store if I stop the plan?

Your store stays yours. Your products, orders, customers and checkout live in your own Shopify or BigCommerce account the whole time, so they are never held by us. The managed storefront itself is part of the plan, and the WorkspaceCMS Terms explain what happens to it when a plan ends.

Are there page limits?

Your published site can grow to up to 10 pages on Essentials, 25 on Growth, and no page limit on Premium or Ultra. Blog posts are unlimited and never count, and neither do your Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy. There is no per-page charge: if you reach your limit, you can upgrade, or unpublish a page you no longer need.

What's the difference between Premium and Ultra?
