He started 1Digital in 2012 on Philadelphia's N3RD Street, back when “eCommerce platform” meant a handful of stacks fighting for dominance, and he's spent the fifteen years since refusing to be locked into any one of them.
The platforms shifted underneath him constantly. Magento 1 to Magento 2. The rise of Shopify and then Shopify Plus. BigCommerce maturing into an enterprise contender. WooCommerce rewriting the rules for what an open-source store could do. Each transition wiped out a generation of agencies that had bet on a single horse. 1Digital didn't just survive those shifts — it absorbed them, retraining teams, rebuilding playbooks, and walking clients across stacks without dropping revenue.
