When you lock up, the calls do not stop. The AI Receptionist picks up after hours, books what can be booked, takes down the rest, and has it all in your email before you open.

7-day free trial with 30 minutes included. Card on file, cancel anytime.

Illustration with example data
The short version: set your business hours, choose after-hours answering, and forward your line. Outside those hours the receptionist answers every call, tells the caller it is a virtual assistant, and books a time or takes a message. Each call is emailed to you with a summary and transcript.

What happens after hours

No caller hears a dead end

A booking instead of voicemail

With no one available to transfer to, it offers the caller an open time on your calendar and books it once the calendar confirms.

Messages you can act on

It asks what the caller needs and reads their number back to them, so the morning callback reaches the right person.

Your hours, your rules

Set the hours that count as open. Choose after hours only, or combine it with missed calls during the day.

Holidays and weekends too

Any time outside the hours you set is after hours, so a long weekend is covered the same way as a weeknight.

The next morning

Start the day already caught up

One email per call

Each one says who called, what they wanted and how it ended, with the transcript underneath.

Bookings already made

Appointments booked overnight are on your calendar, so there is nothing to confirm before the day starts.

Calls with your other leads

Overnight calls sit in your 1Digital account beside web forms and chats, so the whole team sees the same list.

Spam does not pile up

Calls are capped per day and per caller, so a robocaller cannot burn through your minutes while you sleep.

    6. Caller: Yeah, it's Dev. Dev Patel.

On a WorkspaceCMS Essentials website plan it cannot book appointments; booking by phone needs Growth or above. Extra charges outside the plan: each phone number outside the US (Mexico, Spain or Latin America) is $10 a month on top of your plan and takes calls only; it cannot send texts. Your US local number, and texting on it, are included in every plan with no extra fee.

Common questions

Does after-hours answering cost extra?
No. It is included in every plan. Calls simply use minutes from your plan like any other answered call.
Can it answer only after hours and leave the day to my team?
Yes. Choose after hours only and set your business hours. During the day your phone rings as it always has.
What if a caller has an emergency at night?
Callers describing an emergency are told to hang up and call 911. For urgent work that is not an emergency, it takes the details and a callback number so you see it first thing.
Will it tell callers we are closed?
It answers from your notes, so it can share your hours and when you reopen, then offer a booking or a message.
