What is Always Fresh?

Always Fresh is a free storefront redesign included with 1Digital's Launch, Growth and Scale store plans. Two years after the storefront launches, 1Digital designs a new look for it at the plan's page types, with the store's existing products and content. The client asks about 30 days before the two-year mark so the work can be booked, and redeeming it starts a new 12-month term at the current rate. eCommerce Enterprise refreshes are scoped with the project manager instead.

  2. Tell us 30 days ahead

    Give us a heads-up about a month before the two-year mark and we hold a design slot for you. We show you new directions, you pick one, and we rebuild the storefront in it.

  3. Your store does not move

    The new look sits on the same connection to your Shopify or BigCommerce store. Products, prices, checkout and order history carry on exactly as before, because none of it lived in the design.

Does redeeming Always Fresh change my price?
No. Redeeming it starts a new 12-month term at the rate you already pay.
Is Always Fresh on eCommerce Enterprise?
Enterprise storefronts are fully custom, so their refreshes are planned and scoped with your project manager instead.
Do I have to redesign at two years?
No. It is there when you want it. Ask about 30 days before the two-year mark and we book the work.
When can I redeem Always Fresh?
24 months after your storefront goes live. Ask about 30 days before the 2-year mark and we book your slot.
What does the Always Fresh redesign include?
A new look across your plan's page types, designed by our team and built from your current products and content, then launched on your storefront.
Does Always Fresh cost extra?
No. It is included on Launch, Growth and Scale, with no build fee for the redesign.
Does Always Fresh come around more than once?
Yes. It is there every 2 years while you stay on Launch, Growth or Scale.
Will a redesign affect my products or orders?
No. Products, prices, stock, checkout and orders stay in your Shopify or BigCommerce store, and the redesigned storefront reads them live just as before.
Will a redesign hurt my search rankings?
We plan for it: URLs are mapped, redirects are set for any that change, and titles, descriptions and structured data carry over. That protects the rankings you have as fully as a redesign can, though no one can promise rankings.
Can I change the design before two years?
Yes. Changes are unlimited from launch day, so sections, pages and details can be adjusted any time at your plan's turnaround. Always Fresh is the full new look at the 2-year mark.
Which store plans include Always Fresh?
eCommerce Launch ($499/mo), Growth ($799/mo) and Scale ($1,299/mo). eCommerce Enterprise refreshes are scoped with your project manager.
Is the redesign a new Shopify or BigCommerce theme?
No. It is a new look for your WorkspaceCMS storefront. Your store's own theme is not touched.
Who designs the Always Fresh redesign?
The same 1Digital® design team that built your storefront, working from your current catalog, content and brand.
