The average custom design project takes 8-12 weeks. However, not every project is average. The timeline of a website design project is dependent on a few factors. Timelines are most affected by client communication and the project scope. If you have a deadline in mind, we will try our best to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for materials and responses required by 1Digital® from the client. If you have everything ready, we can usually speed up the process.
For projects where design time is included, we will have a kickoff meeting at the start of the project. The kickoff meeting gives our clients a chance to meet their designer and explain their vision for the site. For most development projects a kickoff meeting is not necessary, however, one can be arranged by speaking to your account manager.
A custom design from 1Digital® will always be more search engine friendly than the average platform template. We build our sites to conform to Google’s best practices and guidelines. That said, a site can only be optimized to a certain point without a keyword strategy. If you’re interested in taking site optimization all the way, ask your account manager about an SEO campaign.
No. Every charge is discussed up front and prior to our project start date. We price everything accordingly and only charge extra for tasks that are beyond the scope of work in our agreement. If you’re wondering whether or not something is included, and you don’t see it in your scope of work, ask your account manager.
1Digital Agency is a preferred partner of BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, Volusion, Magento and other top platforms. Our staff knows these platforms inside and out and is capable of working with any eCommerce system on the market today. Each eCommerce platform has its own set of advantages and drawbacks. As you discuss the nuances of your project with your account manager, they will be able to recommend the most suitable platform.
We strive to provide everyone considering 1Digital® with as much information as possible, while still respecting our client’s time. Because we get this request so often, we simply cannot ask our previous clients to take the time out of running their businesses to respond to these requests. However, many previous clients have chosen to leave us 1Digital® third-party reviews that we are extremely proud of. We have built a team of some of the top web designers and programmers in the industry today. They are located worldwide and are all 1Digital® employees. 1Digital® employees are available from 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Night and weekend support is also available at extra cost. When you hire 1Digital®, we will pair you with a highly qualified account manager that will be your main point of contact. The account manager runs the team behind your project, and will always know the status and your next steps.
Upon completion and final approval of the website design, everything we’ve created and customized for you is owned by you. It cannot be used by other parties without your approval. Custom programming is proprietary information that we complete for you. You fully own the code and design, but only you. Our work may not be resold or re-used without written permission. Please talk to your account manager for further detail, or special ownership requests.
1Digital Agency believes in helping its customers as much as possible. We know unexpected circumstances can occur during the course of a project, and therefore, we have a considerate cancellation/refund policy. If for some reason you’re not happy with our work, we’ll provide you options to cancel and/or refund the unfinished portion of the work. Please view our refund / cancellation policy for more information.
We support the code and customization’s we create for 30 days (For fixed cost or larger projects over $1,000). During that time we’ll correct any mistakes or errors found after the completion of your project – as long as this code has not been tampered with by you, or any other developers. Any errors or issues found after the 30 day support period is closed can be addressed by our team if you have an hourly support agreement. Support and retainer service may be purchased by contacting our sales department.
We ask that you do not automatically or manually update your website. Updates for WordPress, custom websites, and other platforms should be handled by the team that created your website. Because of the complexities involved in updates, we highly recommend you hire us to perform this task. If you update your website without consulting us, your customization may be lost, and it will cost you more to hire us after the fact. Updates can be handled by purchasing an hourly support agreement from our sales department.
