Migration and Development: Fast Specialties Group, operating from FastHemis and FastScions, needed a solution that was both more flexible and more scalable than what was offered by the original eCommerce platform on which they were built. They partnered with us to execute a carefully-planned, custom-tailored migration to Shopify. As is customary in this industry, the products sold have a great deal of minute specifications which must be accurately reflected in order to ensure customers can make appropriate purchases based on make, model, year, and other qualifiers. Shopify’s native functionality only allows for three product options; we worked with them to configure a plugin that allowed products to be expanded with additional options, and ensured that the data was transferred accurately to a waiting field, either in Shopify or through the plugin.
