What it does
Three parts, and you hold the last one
It finds the weak pages
It reads your products and lists the ones that need work first: a description under 80 words, no SEO title or SEO description, or images with no alt text.
It writes a draft
Pick a product and it writes a new description, a short list of key points, an SEO title, an SEO description and alt text for each image, using only what your product data says.
You approve it
Read the draft beside your current page, edit any word, then press Update my store. Nothing on BigCommerce changes before that.

From sign-up to your first updated page

Choose a Connect plan
Connect ($149 a month), Connect Plus ($299) or Connect Pro ($599). The Product Page Writer comes with all three.

Create your login and pay
Create your login and pay on Stripe. Your dashboard opens straight away, and a welcome email links back to it.

Follow the setup wizard
The wizard asks for your website address and what your store runs on. Choose BigCommerce and it adds a Connect your store step, so nothing is left to find on your own.

Connect BigCommerce
Create an API account in BigCommerce and paste two values. The exact steps are below.

Pick a product
Open Agents, then Product Page Writer. The products that need work are listed first. Press Write a better page on one.

Read, edit, update
Your current page shows on the left and the draft on the right. Change any word, then press Update my store. The new copy is live on your product page.
Connecting BigCommerce
Connecting BigCommerce, step by step
- 1In your BigCommerce control panel, open Settings, then Store-level API accounts, and press Create API account.
- 2Name it 1Digital Connect. Under OAuth scopes, set Products to modify and leave every other scope at none.
- 3Press Save. BigCommerce shows the API path and the Access token once, and downloads a copy as a text file. Keep that window open.
- 4In the setup wizard's Connect your store step (or on the Agents page, under Your store), choose BigCommerce, paste the API path and the Access token, and press Check and connect. We check them against your store before saving, and you see how many products we can reach.

It asks first, every time
Nothing changes until you approve
A draft waits in your dashboard until you press Update my store. Press Throw away and your store is exactly as it was. Decide later keeps the draft for another day.
No invented facts
Every number in a draft has to be in your product data already, and drafts carry no links, phone numbers or email addresses. A draft that breaks a rule is thrown away before you see it.
It checks before it writes
If someone edited the product after the draft was written, the update is refused, so it never overwrites newer work.
Only the account owner
Only the account owner can connect a store and apply drafts, because they change your products.
Disconnect at any time
Press Disconnect on the Agents page, or delete the API account in BigCommerce. Either one ends our access straight away.
You see the cost first
Each draft uses 5 AI credits, shown next to the button before you press it. A draft we cannot use costs nothing.
