Platform Migration: Sagebrook Home connected with us at 1Digital Agency because their site was on an older, proprietary system, that was also locking them into year-long hosting contracts. They knew they needed a fresh start with more freedom, and had settled on BigCommerce as their new platform. We worked side by side with the BigCommerce team throughout the length of the project to make sure their data came into the platform from their ERP system, and that all the functionality they needed would be feasible through our customizations to the BigCommerce system.
Custom Development: The Sagebrook Home site is bursting at the seams with custom functionality, though you might not know to look at it. Because Sagebrook works mostly with dealers and retailers, there is a ton of specialized wholesale and pricing functionality to allow Sagebrook to show their customers bulk pricing and discounts for ordering by the case. The main custom piece is Sagebrook’s checkout. The checkout is done on BigCommerce’s highly customizable SDK checkout, in collaboration with MiniBC to allow for Sagebrook to charge in the variety of ways that their dealers are used to.
Custom Design: A new site on a new platform is a great time to do a new design. Our design team took most of the elements of the Sagebrook branding from the previous site and updated it to make all the site’s new custom features easy use without being so distinct as to be obvious. Photos are a big part of this site, so the site’s look complements the aesthetic of the decor that Sagebrook Home deals in.

Custom Design: J Devlin came to 1Digital Agency for a few different reasons. Along with boosting the online presence of their website, they also wanted a custom design project that would modernize their site, incorporate branding, and allow for better user experience. Their custom design project with 1Digital included a responsive design along with a full site redesign that focused on their uniquely handmade products and personalized creations.
Development: In addition to the site redesign and responsive mobile design, 1Digital developed an easy-to-use and fully functional mega menu for J Devlin that organized all of their products in one location so that users can easily see all product options. We also integrated a “Share, Shop & Get Inspired” Instagram feed on the homepage to encourage customer interaction and increase conversions.
SEO: J Devlin Glass Art partnered with 1Digital for an aggressive SEO campaign that targets keywords relevant to their business in order to boost traffic to their site. With a successful website redesign, 1Digital is focusing on targeting the pages that are most important for J Devlin. Our strategy includes link building, on-page optimization, and content creation that incorporates the warm and personalized J Devlin brand and voice.

Platform Upgrade: Nick Mayer from Air Soft Station had been a 1Digital Agency client for a few years. We worked alongside Nick on a support retainer basis making updates and changes to his site that had seen positive results in a variety of A/B conversion tests. When it finally came time for Nick to upgrade the Air Soft Station site from BigCommerce’s Blueprint framework to Stencil, he knew he wanted to take all of the improvements we had done for the site over then years with him. Since we had done the changes to Blueprint in the first place we know exactly what would work on Stencil and what we could rebuild to function on the new BigCommerce framework.
Custom Design: Along with the upgraded framework and custom development work, Nick wanted to use this opportunity to give Air Soft Station an updated look. Because we were already changing his template files, a new custom design could be rolled into his Stencil upgrade at less expense. We took the color scheme, branding, and design language of the Blueprint site and changed it to give it a more modern presentation. This version not only uses more contemporary fonts and design elements, but it is tailored to work better with the functionality that comes with a Stencil framework along with a better conversion rate optimization.
Development: We rebuilt quite a few custom functionality tweaks for Air Soft Station’s new Stencil site. These were changes that were not native to BigCommerce but had been proven, by A/B testing to increase conversion on the site. Amongst the tweaks we carried over, were things like allowing the customer to always see the price of a product in the sticky header when on a product page, and displaying to the customer exactly how much more value they would need to add to their cart in order to qualify for free shipping.
