SEO: Local Battery operates in a niche industry, selling hearing aid parts, batteries, cleaning products, and other accessories. Despite the fact that they have excellent prices, customer service and a broad selection, they face stiff competition from other larger sellers like Amazon and Wal-Mart who have big budgets and strong domain authority. They needed a sustainable solution for growing organic traffic to their website in the long term.
1Digital® Agency optimized their website following our results-driven eCommerce SEO process and began optimizing existing content on their website and published a stream of fresh content on targeted pages of their site. We also implemented a special link strategy, building internal link structure and generating backlinks by posting to third-party locations. Targeting a unique mix of high-volume, competitive keywords and keywords that represented more easily attainable opportunities, 1Digital® Agency’s SEO campaign for Local Battery generated more, better-targeted organic traffic to Local Battery’s website after only a few weeks.

Custom Design: BC International, which owns the Maximilian brand and is the largest fur company in North America, produces some of the finest and most exclusive fur garments and accessories in the world. Traditionally, BC International relied on retail sales for revenue, but has made significant changes to pursue the opportunities that exist in eCommerce, including but not limited to the ability to reach a broader market and to pursue targeted digital marketing initiatives. For this, they needed a brand new eCommerce storefront.
BC International and its brand, Maximilian, possess unrivaled mystique and sophistication. Producing a newly designed and developed online storefront for their operation would require an equally refined and highly modern aesthetic paired with seamless brand integration to complement their exquisite portfolio of products. Building the website from scratch, 1Digital®’s designers created a new custom homepage with new banners for featuring their fur products prominently and attractively to visitors to their website.
As it was brand new, the website needed category and product pages to be built from the ground up, 1Digital® created category and product pages for BC International that featured the same dignified minimalism of the homepage and the rest of the website. In addition, 1Digital® crafted an About Us page, along with several other content and policy pages, in alignment with the company’s brand strategy. Their new website design was also seamlessly integrated with their social media platforms, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Advanced Development: Since Maximilian.com is a brand new website and needed to promote the integrity of a well-established brand, BC International partnered with 1Digital® Agency for some advanced development items to create a visually stunning storefront and an enjoyable user experience. A large part of the project was the advanced responsive development that 1Digital® Agency performed for BC International to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience, regardless of the device used to access the website.
As a part of the customizations, 1Digital® Agency developed an image upload feature for the product pages as well as a return form fill page to streamline the return process, which we built into a styled CMS page. 1Digital® also developed “About the Model” sections for the client’s product pages; this feature was designed to give shoppers an impression of how Maximilian’s fur garments would fit them.
1Digital® Agency also implemented Google Analytics codes for tracking information across the client’s new website which prove highly valuable in assessing the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives and customer behavior. In order to improve the shopping experience for BC International’s customers, 1Digital® configured and implemented Affirm to enable the client to offer financing options to its customers, as well as QuickBooks, so that the client could better manage invoicing and payments.
SEO Maximilian.com provides a very large catalog of luxury fur goods, including but not limited to jackets, coats, hats, and many other modern, trendy accessories. A massive pool of lucrative keywords existed for them to target through an SEO campaign, with a great deal of targeted search intent to make the campaign valuable.
Maximilian partnered with 1DigitalⓇ for a very large project, targeting 450 keywords associated with their fur products as well as the services they offer. 1DigitalⓇ’s technical team optimized Maximilian.com with header titles, metadata, and fresh page content, removing broken links and monitoring the client’s Google Search Console and Google Analytics throughout the process.
The campaign has also entailed an extensive scope of content publication, resulting in the delivery of fresh category page content along with a variety of blogs highlighting their products, service, and much more. The scope of the project has also entailed the publication of keyword-optimized content to their blog, the various pages of their website, and to third-party locations for the purposes of establishing a backlink strategy.
PPC While 1DigitalⓇ’s technical team was busy auditing Maximilian.com and ensuring its structure was SEO-friendly, 1DigitalⓇ’s PPC specialists began compiling a number of ad variants to be used in conjunction with carefully-tailored landing pages to generate business to the new website.
With so many competitive keywords on their project’s target list, 1DigitalⓇ’s content creators were able to generate a suite of new ads to attract their target customers. Much of the success of our PPC campaigns for our clients stems from the thorough, industry-specific keyword research that we perform for each and every project. Mac Me an Offer

Migration: Mac Me an Offer, an organization that buys used Apple products, relied on a WordPress site operating a tool of limited functionality in order to provide quotes for its customers’ products. Unfortunately, the tools they were using were limited, relatively inaccurate, and worst of all, communication between Mac Me an Offer and its sister store, Mac of All Trades, which was based on BigCommerce, was cumbersome.
1Digital® Agency migrated Mac Me an Offer off of WordPress and onto a newly designed and developed BigCommerce store, complete with a new custom app that would vastly improve their customer experience.
To get their old website off of WordPress and onto BigCommerce, we had to write a custom script to draw all of their category, product, customer, and order information onto a temporary Linux server where it could be assessed and configured before being moved to the new BigCommerce store via BigCommerce’s API. This migration was extensive, encompassing nearly 100 categories, over 500 products, and account information for nearly 200,000 customers.
Even after the migration was successfully completed, 1Digital® Agency implemented 301 redirects for each and every URL on Mac Me an Offer’s old WordPress site so that the operation, which was established and had been in business for years, would not lose any traffic or authority. In addition, 1Digital® Agency also monitored the client’s Google Search Console in the wake of the migration to identify any issues in traffic before they could become problematic.
Custom App Development: Mac Me an Offer’s clientele consists largely of people with used Apple products who want to sell them. Unfortunately, no such tool existed for taking qualitative information from a customer regarding his or her used goods and converting it into an accurate quote reflecting what Mac Me an Offer would pay for them.
1Digital® Agency developed a comprehensive custom app for Mac Me an Offer, featuring multiple avenues for quote generation and quote management. On one side, the app collects information from a customer based on the product that the customer wishes to sell. By entering product specific information about their used Apple goods, the app calculates a quote reflecting what Mac Me an Offer would be willing to pay for them. The app also gives the customer the ability to generate a quote by using the Apple serial number instead.
This system not only creates an accurate quote for Mac Me an Offer’s customers based on their product-specific inputs; it also is synched to UPS and generates a UPS shipping label that the customer can view on the BigCommerce Thank You page. To enhance the customer experience, the app is also configured to send an email with the quote details and the shipping label to the customer’s email address.
It is also vastly useful to Mac Me an Offer because it enables them to easily manage the series and products that they will buy back, along with the questions that are asked for any given product during the process. In addition, it allows them to manage serial numbers, track quote completion and abandonment during the process of quote generation, and much more. Finally, it shares store credit between Mac Me an Offer and its sister site, Mac of All Trades, which sells used Apple products.
SEO: Mac Me an Offer, like its sister site, Mac of All Trades, operates in a very competitive market. In addition to the migration and development work we performed for them, 1Digital® Agency also crafted a highly targeted, eCommerce specific SEO campaign to generate higher quality organic traffic to their online store.
Beginning with keyword research, industry research and competitive analysis, our SEO team identified an assortment of keywords to target that were eCommerce relevant and represented a good mix of competitive long and short tail keywords. From there we optimized their site structure, identifying and removing broken links and toxic backlinks, optimizing code, title tags and meta descriptions.
Our team also built a content publication strategy hinged on their keyword strategy that involved a variety of content to be published on page as well as offsite as part of a link-building strategy. We crafted fresh content for their category pages and along with keyword-dense long and short form content for their blog. All the while, ongoing onsite optimization and audits were performed by our technical team to ensure that, among other things, content is visible to search engines as well as visitors and that all pages and code were optimized pursuant to our keyword strategy and best practices.



World Maps Online

Advanced Migration: World Maps Online was working with an older platform and wanted to move to a more capable, contemporary platform. BigCommerce fit the bill perfectly, but unfortunately, their old platform was structured in such a way that there was no product data for us to pull from. We created a tool to crawl their product pages and siphon out all of their product data. We removed any HTML pulled from the export and added in new HTML to ensure it would be properly styled in BigCommerce. From there, we entered it into a BigCommerce spreadsheet and configured it with accurate data points before migrating it to BigCommerce via the BigCommerce API.
This migration also required advanced 301-redirects and Google Search Console support. We compiled all of the website URLs, including product and category page and CMS URLs before creating 301-redirects to protect World Maps Online against a loss of data. In addition, we allocated support hours to this project and monitored their Google Search Console for any issues for a month after the migration.
Custom Design: World Maps Online had an original design that was very sparse and dated; we created a brand new site design for them that was not only more brand-aligned but was also more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to navigate. We created a new custom homepage along with custom banners and new category and product pages.
In addition, this redesign was created with SEO in mind. Getting the data into their category pages and ensuring it was optimized was a special task. We migrated the code over to ensure that their new store not only displayed properly after the redesign but that it was optimized as well.
SEO: World Maps Online wanted to drive traffic to its online store in addition to improving the user experience with migration to a newly designed BigCommerce store. To do so, we conducted a competitive analysis and keyword research to identify valuable keywords to target. We optimized their site structure, removed broken links and duplicate content, infused their website with fresh, optimized, keyword-rich content, and engaged in a content publication campaign - both onsite and offsite - to increase their authority and rankings and push traffic to their website.



Stover & Company

Migration: When Stover & Company, a B2B and B2C confectionery and bakery supplier, first reached out to 1Digital® they were on a Magento site that they had been using for years. They no longer had time for Magento’s significant upkeep. They wanted something that could be managed more easily. We knew that a big portion of their business is B2B focused, so we suggested BigCommerce as a b2b friendly hosted solution. Our migration from Magento to BigCommerce was done in 2 stages, with ongoing back and forth between 1Digital® and the Stover team about how product and categories would need to change for the new and improved BigCommerce site.
Design: We wanted the new site to have the fun and color of the cake and candy industry, while also communication that Stover & Company is a serious B2B supplier capable of serving large clients. We landed on a design with uses bright and fun images and colors to draw the users eye to the parts of the site which underline Stover’s capabilities and reliability.
Development: The custom development on Stover & Company is woven into the design of the site so as to make navigation just that much easier. The custom auto-scroll on the brands pages makes can immediately take visitors to the brand page for the types of ingredients their business uses. We also worked with several 3rd party apps to bring advanced filtered search to the site and the ability for users to put together a quote list and request a price before checking out.
SEO: Because Stover was migrating from platform to platform, we needed to make sure that a 301 redirect was included in the project. This helps a site maintain its Google ranking even when its URLs will change slightly to accommodate its new system. We also provided ongoing Google Search Console support to watch for, and correct, crawling errors for a month after the new site launched. We are now working on an ongoing SEO campaign for Stover and Company which will take the domain authority that the project preserved and strengthen it even more in the coming months and years.



Divinity Clergy Wear

Custom Design: Divinity Clergy Wear needed a new website design that was more modern, better aligned with their brand image and easier to navigate. They also needed a design that portrayed their products in a more valuable light. 1Digital® Agency created a custom BigCommerce store for them that hit both these marks; the custom homepage design created for Divinity Clergy Wear also showcased popular products and categories, custom banners, and easy access to important pages such as their ‘About Us’ and Blog.

This app consists of a very thorough quote generation tool that offers an accurate prediction of what Mac Me an Offer would pay for a customer’s used Apple products, based on the information provided by the customer. Though the app was developed specifically for Mac Me an Offer, since the two online stores are a part of the same parent operation, 1Digital® Agency created the app to be accessible from Mac of All Trades backend as well. The app was synched between both online stores so that quote generation data, user behavior, account information, and store credit could be shared between the two BigCommerce stores via the app.



Waterfront Gourmet

Custom Design: Waterfront Gourmet needed a site refresh to better align with a target market that was growing both in size and in diversity. 1Digital® refreshed their site with brand new imagery and photography to capitalize on the experiential role that a good meal plays into both social and commercial meetings. In addition, 1Digital® created upselling and cross selling opportunities on many pages within their website to give Waterfront Gourmet the ability to take advantage of a greater market share.
SEO: As the design team worked to update the layout and imagery of Waterfront Gourmet’s website, 1Digital®‘s content team updated older content on their website so as to better align their message with their target market. This updated content was also a part of their onsite optimization initiatives and created in accordance with their larger keyword strategy. In addition to the redesign, 1Digital®’s team creates content for Waterfront Gourmet on an ongoing basis that serves two functions - to inform their customers as it brings in traffic.



J Devlin

Custom Design: J Devlin came to 1Digital Agency for a few different reasons. Along with boosting the online presence of their website, they also wanted a custom design project that would modernize their site, incorporate branding, and allow for better user experience. Their custom design project with 1Digital included a responsive design along with a full site redesign that focused on their uniquely handmade products and personalized creations.
Development: In addition to the site redesign and responsive mobile design, 1Digital developed an easy-to-use and fully functional mega menu for J Devlin that organized all of their products in one location so that users can easily see all product options. We also integrated a “Share, Shop & Get Inspired” Instagram feed on the homepage to encourage customer interaction and increase conversions.
SEO: J Devlin Glass Art partnered with 1Digital for an aggressive SEO campaign that targets keywords relevant to their business in order to boost traffic to their site. With a successful website redesign, 1Digital is focusing on targeting the pages that are most important for J Devlin. Our strategy includes link building, on-page optimization, and content creation that incorporates the warm and personalized J Devlin brand and voice.



The Knife Connection

Design: Ethan, one of the Knife Connection’s co-founders, reached out to 1Digital Agency when he was getting ready to move his site from an outdated CS-Cart store to a new BigCommerce store. Ethan was excited by the prospect of using new and updated technology for the store and wanted an updated design to go along with it. His philosophy was to offer customers the path of least resistance in all aspects of the site. Our new BigCommerce design focuses on highlighting both category and brand prominently so that each type of shopper can find what they’re looking for as soon as they hit the homepage.
Development: As part of Ethan’s path of least resistance approach, we made special development tweaks to make the site as easy to browse as possible. The advanced mega menu employs two different layouts, to cater specifically to a customer shopping by brand or by category. We’ve also employed a mini cart feature so that customers can edit their selections without interrupting their shopping experience. Our developers customized the standard BigCommerce responsive version to create a seamless mobile experience on The Knife Connection.
SEO: The Knife Connection had bad experiences with supposedly ‘professional’ SEO companies in the past, but once they had experienced the full 1Digital design and development process they were ready to trust us with their search engine marketing as well. We performed 301 redirects when moving the site to the BigCommerce platform so that they wouldn’t lose any domain authority during the migration. Our ongoing SEO campaign focuses on promoting The Knife Connection’s most popular categories and brands so that shoppers who are already motivated to make a purchase can easily find the new and improved store.



Location Sound

Custom Development: Location Sound received a cornucopia of custom development features integrated into their site as a part of their partnership with 1Digital® Agency. Most importantly, we customized the manner in which their inventory feeds into their online store through Navision. In addition, 1Digital® updated their website to better showcase their portfolio of brands through logo integration while improving their checkout features and site navigation.
Custom Design: Location Sound not only needed a site design with better brand integration but also needed a more streamlined way to showcase their portfolio of brand offerings in their products. 1Digital® Agency created a custom slideshow to present relevant products, information and solutions as well as to integrate partner’s logos into their product category pages for better brand recognition.
PPC Marketing: Location Sound was considering PPC marketing as a way to ramp up business and sales for a while before they came to 1Digital®. 1Digital® crafted a PPC marketing campaign for Location Sound on Google Shopping Ads utilizing a carefully devised keyword strategy. After initial performance testing and fine tuning of the campaign, Location Sound saw months resulting in over 800%, 900% and even 10,000% return on investment.

Custom Design: Office Replacement Parts had been operating with a store design that was roughly ten years old. 1Digital® was called upon to give the site a design facelift that brought a successful but antiquated design a more exciting modern look and feel, while keeping the B2B customer buyer’s journey prevalent. In addition to bringing the design update with fresh imagery and text, our designers also completely updated the framework to assist in driving customers further into categories then their previous design.



La Española

Custom Design: Founded in 1978, with 14 brick and mortar locations across Puerto Rico, La Española reached out to 1Digital Agency when they were finally ready to join the world of eCommerce. We knew that for a brand as well established as La Española, a template site simply would not square with the image that customers already had of the brand. We synthesized their longtime imagery and branding into a modern eCommerce site that exuded the professionalism already associated with the La Española Beauty name.
Custom Development: The La Española site makes use of BigCommerce’s custom group functionality. La Española has two main customer groups, students and wholesale partners. Both get a discount on the items available in the store. We created two custom from using a third-party service and integrated them with the BigCommerce site. Users can apply to be placed in one of these customer groups by filling out these forms and, if they are accepted by the La Española team, they will see specially tailored products and prices on the site when logged into their user account.
SEO Marketing: After the site was complete we stayed on as La Española Beauty’s partner for SEO Marketing. They want to get their site in front of customers both in the U.S. and Latin America, which takes special consideration when constructing an SEO strategy. We are writing content in both Spanish and English, as well as building Latin American and U.S. based backlinks in order to build La Española’s domain authority in both regions.
