Custom Design: Pixlscapes, at Pixlscapes.com, produces a wide range of printed peel-and-stick vinyl wall murals in a variety of different patterns and aesthetics. They’re based on WordPress, which remains a powerful platform that can still be utilized to develop a modern, efficient online store, provided the platform is managed and customized by an experienced eCommerce designer. Pixlscapes worked with 1Digital® to bring their WordPress website into the modern age with a custom redesign. We reimagined their homepage with color and brand integration in mind, creating a new banner to advertise feature categories as well as colorful tiles to top categories that facilitated the customer journey. We also recreated their product pages, making it easier for customers to configure their options in Pixlscapes products with respect to material, dimensions, pattern repetition, protective top coat options, and more. Pixlscapes also utilizes a custom API; we ensured that everything we completed for them was compatible with this software.

We implemented a custom SEO campaign for this client, optimizing key URLs as targets for our backlinking and content strategies while simultaneously performing key technical optimizations to improve organic rankings.

To that end, we created categories on the homepage corresponding to the client’s top-sellers, being bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces, and completed them with clickable designer profiles that users can navigate through for information or complete purchases.
We also created two more pages: a “Korman Girl” page and an Engagement and Bridal page. The former features brand ambassadors and the other allows real customers to highlight their personal stories. Custom Design: BC International, which owns the Maximilian brand and is the largest fur company in North America, produces some of the finest and most exclusive fur garments and accessories in the world. Traditionally, BC International relied on retail sales for revenue, but has made significant changes to pursue the opportunities that exist in eCommerce, including but not limited to the ability to reach a broader market and to pursue targeted digital marketing initiatives. For this, they needed a brand new eCommerce storefront.
BC International and its brand, Maximilian, possess unrivaled mystique and sophistication. Producing a newly designed and developed online storefront for their operation would require an equally refined and highly modern aesthetic paired with seamless brand integration to complement their exquisite portfolio of products. Building the website from scratch, 1Digital®’s designers created a new custom homepage with new banners for featuring their fur products prominently and attractively to visitors to their website.
As it was brand new, the website needed category and product pages to be built from the ground up, 1Digital® created category and product pages for BC International that featured the same dignified minimalism of the homepage and the rest of the website. In addition, 1Digital® crafted an About Us page, along with several other content and policy pages, in alignment with the company’s brand strategy. Their new website design was also seamlessly integrated with their social media platforms, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Advanced Development: Since Maximilian.com is a brand new website and needed to promote the integrity of a well-established brand, BC International partnered with 1Digital® Agency for some advanced development items to create a visually stunning storefront and an enjoyable user experience. A large part of the project was the advanced responsive development that 1Digital® Agency performed for BC International to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience, regardless of the device used to access the website.
As a part of the customizations, 1Digital® Agency developed an image upload feature for the product pages as well as a return form fill page to streamline the return process, which we built into a styled CMS page. 1Digital® also developed “About the Model” sections for the client’s product pages; this feature was designed to give shoppers an impression of how Maximilian’s fur garments would fit them.

SEO Maximilian.com provides a very large catalog of luxury fur goods, including but not limited to jackets, coats, hats, and many other modern, trendy accessories. A massive pool of lucrative keywords existed for them to target through an SEO campaign, with a great deal of targeted search intent to make the campaign valuable.

Mac Me an Offer

Migration: Mac Me an Offer, an organization that buys used Apple products, relied on a WordPress site operating a tool of limited functionality in order to provide quotes for its customers’ products. Unfortunately, the tools they were using were limited, relatively inaccurate, and worst of all, communication between Mac Me an Offer and its sister store, Mac of All Trades, which was based on BigCommerce, was cumbersome.
1Digital® Agency migrated Mac Me an Offer off of WordPress and onto a newly designed and developed BigCommerce store, complete with a new custom app that would vastly improve their customer experience.
To get their old website off of WordPress and onto BigCommerce, we had to write a custom script to draw all of their category, product, customer, and order information onto a temporary Linux server where it could be assessed and configured before being moved to the new BigCommerce store via BigCommerce’s API. This migration was extensive, encompassing nearly 100 categories, over 500 products, and account information for nearly 200,000 customers.
Even after the migration was successfully completed, 1Digital® Agency implemented 301 redirects for each and every URL on Mac Me an Offer’s old WordPress site so that the operation, which was established and had been in business for years, would not lose any traffic or authority. In addition, 1Digital® Agency also monitored the client’s Google Search Console in the wake of the migration to identify any issues in traffic before they could become problematic.
Custom App Development: Mac Me an Offer’s clientele consists largely of people with used Apple products who want to sell them. Unfortunately, no such tool existed for taking qualitative information from a customer regarding his or her used goods and converting it into an accurate quote reflecting what Mac Me an Offer would pay for them.
1Digital® Agency developed a comprehensive custom app for Mac Me an Offer, featuring multiple avenues for quote generation and quote management. On one side, the app collects information from a customer based on the product that the customer wishes to sell. By entering product specific information about their used Apple goods, the app calculates a quote reflecting what Mac Me an Offer would be willing to pay for them. The app also gives the customer the ability to generate a quote by using the Apple serial number instead.
This system not only creates an accurate quote for Mac Me an Offer’s customers based on their product-specific inputs; it also is synched to UPS and generates a UPS shipping label that the customer can view on the BigCommerce Thank You page. To enhance the customer experience, the app is also configured to send an email with the quote details and the shipping label to the customer’s email address.
It is also vastly useful to Mac Me an Offer because it enables them to easily manage the series and products that they will buy back, along with the questions that are asked for any given product during the process. In addition, it allows them to manage serial numbers, track quote completion and abandonment during the process of quote generation, and much more. Finally, it shares store credit between Mac Me an Offer and its sister site, Mac of All Trades, which sells used Apple products.
SEO: Mac Me an Offer, like its sister site, Mac of All Trades, operates in a very competitive market. In addition to the migration and development work we performed for them, 1Digital® Agency also crafted a highly targeted, eCommerce specific SEO campaign to generate higher quality organic traffic to their online store.
Beginning with keyword research, industry research and competitive analysis, our SEO team identified an assortment of keywords to target that were eCommerce relevant and represented a good mix of competitive long and short tail keywords. From there we optimized their site structure, identifying and removing broken links and toxic backlinks, optimizing code, title tags and meta descriptions.
Our team also built a content publication strategy hinged on their keyword strategy that involved a variety of content to be published on page as well as offsite as part of a link-building strategy. We crafted fresh content for their category pages and along with keyword-dense long and short form content for their blog. All the while, ongoing onsite optimization and audits were performed by our technical team to ensure that, among other things, content is visible to search engines as well as visitors and that all pages and code were optimized pursuant to our keyword strategy and best practices.
World Maps Online

Advanced Migration: World Maps Online was working with an older platform and wanted to move to a more capable, contemporary platform. BigCommerce fit the bill perfectly, but unfortunately, their old platform was structured in such a way that there was no product data for us to pull from. We created a tool to crawl their product pages and siphon out all of their product data. We removed any HTML pulled from the export and added in new HTML to ensure it would be properly styled in BigCommerce. From there, we entered it into a BigCommerce spreadsheet and configured it with accurate data points before migrating it to BigCommerce via the BigCommerce API.
This migration also required advanced 301-redirects and Google Search Console support. We compiled all of the website URLs, including product and category page and CMS URLs before creating 301-redirects to protect World Maps Online against a loss of data. In addition, we allocated support hours to this project and monitored their Google Search Console for any issues for a month after the migration.
Custom Design: World Maps Online had an original design that was very sparse and dated; we created a brand new site design for them that was not only more brand-aligned but was also more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to navigate. We created a new custom homepage along with custom banners and new category and product pages.
In addition, this redesign was created with SEO in mind. Getting the data into their category pages and ensuring it was optimized was a special task. We migrated the code over to ensure that their new store not only displayed properly after the redesign but that it was optimized as well.
SEO: World Maps Online wanted to drive traffic to its online store in addition to improving the user experience with migration to a newly designed BigCommerce store. To do so, we conducted a competitive analysis and keyword research to identify valuable keywords to target. We optimized their site structure, removed broken links and duplicate content, infused their website with fresh, optimized, keyword-rich content, and engaged in a content publication campaign - both onsite and offsite - to increase their authority and rankings and push traffic to their website.
Stover & Company

Migration: When Stover & Company, a B2B and B2C confectionery and bakery supplier, first reached out to 1Digital® they were on a Magento site that they had been using for years. They no longer had time for Magento’s significant upkeep. They wanted something that could be managed more easily. We knew that a big portion of their business is B2B focused, so we suggested BigCommerce as a b2b friendly hosted solution. Our migration from Magento to BigCommerce was done in 2 stages, with ongoing back and forth between 1Digital® and the Stover team about how product and categories would need to change for the new and improved BigCommerce site.
Design: We wanted the new site to have the fun and color of the cake and candy industry, while also communication that Stover & Company is a serious B2B supplier capable of serving large clients. We landed on a design with uses bright and fun images and colors to draw the users eye to the parts of the site which underline Stover’s capabilities and reliability.
Development: The custom development on Stover & Company is woven into the design of the site so as to make navigation just that much easier. The custom auto-scroll on the brands pages makes can immediately take visitors to the brand page for the types of ingredients their business uses. We also worked with several 3rd party apps to bring advanced filtered search to the site and the ability for users to put together a quote list and request a price before checking out.
SEO: Because Stover was migrating from platform to platform, we needed to make sure that a 301 redirect was included in the project. This helps a site maintain its Google ranking even when its URLs will change slightly to accommodate its new system. We also provided ongoing Google Search Console support to watch for, and correct, crawling errors for a month after the new site launched. We are now working on an ongoing SEO campaign for Stover and Company which will take the domain authority that the project preserved and strengthen it even more in the coming months and years.
